Don Creedon is an award-winning playwright, director, and actor originally from Dublin, Ireland.

Don has just completed a first draft of his new play Dry Rot and is looking forward to opportunities to present it soon!

In May 2022, Don's play The Lobby was produced by Curtain Call Theatre Company in Stamford, CT, followed by a staged reading at Poor Mouth Theatre Company in October 2022.

In January, 2018, Don's play Guy Walks Into a Bar was presented at the New York Irish Center in Long Island City, New York as part of Origin Theatre's 1st Irish Festival 2018. Directed by Tim Ruddy and featuring Roger Clark, Michael Mellamphy and Clay Westman, the company of Guy received the Festival Fringe Award for their combined efforts to create community and new theatre for the public. Both Roger Clark and Michael Mellamphy were nominated for best actor, with Michael Mellamphy announced as the winner at the 1st Irish 2018 Awards ceremony held on January 29, 2018. 

Don's short play The Ledge was produced by Aching Dogs Theater Company at The Hudson Guild Theater in November 2013. Directed by Don Creedon, the cast featured Walter Michael DeForest, John Duddy, Shelley Ebner and Julia Kelly.


In October 2010, Don received the 1st Irish 2010 Theatre Festival Audience Award for Best Play for Guy Walks into a Bar.


Also in 2010, Don was nominated for Best Director 1st Irish 2010 Theatre Festival for the US premier of Dermot Bolger's one-woman drama The Holy Ground, featuring Katherine O'Sullivan.
